After a brief pause, Gem & Jam Festival is officially back. From February 6–8, 2026, the beloved desert gathering returns to the Pima County Fairgrounds outside Tucson with its most ambitious edition yet. Known for blending forward-thinking electronic music, immersive art, performance, and a deep-rooted gem and mineral culture, Gem & Jam’s 17th year feels like a true homecoming for Arizona’s creative community.
This return also marks a new chapter for the festival through a partnership with Relentless Beats, the independent promoter behind some of the Southwest’s most recognizable large-scale events. The collaboration opens Gem & Jam to a broader audience while staying grounded in the eclectic spirit that longtime attendees know well. The result is a lineup and experience that feels expansive, intentional, and unmistakably Gem & Jam.
A Lineup Built for Exploration
The 2026 lineup spans more than 80 artists across three days, moving fluidly between bass, funk, house, downtempo, experimental, and live electronic sounds.
Friday sets the tone with CloZee leading a day rooted in organic bass and global textures, joined by Desert Dwellers, Flamingosis, Moontricks, Tauk, Yak Attack, and The Widdler. It is a day designed for easing into the weekend while still delivering depth and momentum.
Saturday brings high-energy moments and forward-leaning collaborations. The highly anticipated G Jones b2b EPROM pairing headlines the day alongside TroyBoi, J.Worra, Mr. Bill, Nala, Devault, Saxsquatch, and High Step Society. Saturday’s programming leans into contrast through sound design and tempo shifts, keeping the dance floors active from afternoon into late night.
Sunday closes the weekend with a more expansive, melodic feel. Tycho headlines alongside Sunsquabi, Satin Jackets, and The Polish Ambassador’s Dead Polish. Several rare and first-time moments make Sunday especially notable, including Boombassador’s first performance outside Colorado and LIMINOID’s first show west of the Mississippi. Ivy Lab’s DJ set also lands as part of their farewell tour, adding a sense of occasion to the final day.
Art, Community, and Late-Night Culture

Music is only one layer of the Gem & Jam experience. The Opal Stage returns with curated production by IDGAFNK, showcasing Arizona-based producers, visual artists, painters, and builders. It is a space where collaboration takes center stage and where art, music, and community intersect naturally throughout the weekend.
Festivalgoers can expect large-scale installations, live painting, artist galleries, experiential builds, and daytime workshops that invite participation rather than passive viewing. Late-night energy carries into Opal Afters for those who know where to look, reinforcing the festival’s reputation for rewarding curiosity.
Beyond the festival grounds, Gem & Jam also continues its support for emerging talent. A DJ competition at Gentle Ben’s in Tucson on January 23 gives rising artists a chance to earn a slot on the official lineup. A portion of festival proceeds will also benefit Tucson Clean and Beautiful, tying the event back to the local community it calls home.
A Desert Setting That Defines the Experience
The festival takes place at Pima County Fairgrounds, located on 640 acres about 20 miles south of downtown Tucson. Surrounded by open desert and mountain views, the venue offers the kind of space that allows Gem & Jam to breathe. Multiple stages, art zones, camping areas, and late-night activations all unfold without feeling compressed, creating a sense of flow that defines the weekend.

Tickets, Camping, and How to Do It Right
All ticket levels are on sale now, including single-day passes, GA, VIP, and camping options. VIP passes include early entry, preferred car camping, a dedicated main stage viewing area, lounge access with complimentary snacks and beverages, upgraded bathrooms, and a curated goodie bag featuring Gem & Jam merch and sponsor gifts.
Camping remains a core part of the experience, starting with free walk-in camping plus a parking fee. For those looking to elevate their stay, options include car camping, group camping bundles, glamping, VIP glamping, and both standard and deluxe RV passes. Glamping packages offer pre-set insulated tents in shaded grassy areas, complete with bedding, furniture, electricity, and heaters for cooler desert nights. VIP glamping adds festival VIP perks on top.
Why Gem & Jam Still Hits Different
What has always set Gem & Jam apart is its balance. It brings together high-level electronic acts, grassroots art culture, gem and mineral exhibitions, and a community-driven atmosphere without losing its sense of intimacy. The 2026 edition builds on that foundation with expanded production, rare artist moments, and a renewed focus on creative expression.
For those who value music discovery, immersive art, and desert energy that feels intentional rather than manufactured, Gem & Jam’s return is one of the most meaningful festival moments on Arizona’s 2026 calendar.
