The country hitmakers will bring a night of live music to one of Arizona’s most recognizable Western venues, with Phoenix singer-songwriter Chauncey Jones opening the October 16 show.
There are few places around the Valley where you can catch a country concert and feel connected to Arizona’s Old West at the same time. Harold’s Cave Creek Corral has been doing exactly that for more than nine decades, and this October, the Cave Creek institution is celebrating its 91st anniversary with a live performance from country band Parmalee.
Presented by Moonlit Nites, the anniversary concert takes place Friday, October 16, 2026, bringing one of country music’s established hitmakers to a venue that has spent generations building its own place in Arizona entertainment. Phoenix-based country singer-songwriter Chauncey Jones will open the show.
For fans who enjoy country music, outdoor concerts, and a little character with their night out, the celebration offers a chance to experience a piece of local history while catching a nationally recognized act.
Parmalee Brings a Catalog of Country Hits to Cave Creek
With five No. 1 hits and more than a billion streams, Parmalee has built a substantial following in modern country music. The band’s blend of country songwriting and polished, radio-friendly production has helped it reach audiences well beyond the traditional country circuit.
Songs like “Carolina,” “Just the Way,” “Take My Name,” and “Girl in Mine” have become familiar entries in the band’s catalog, giving longtime listeners and newer fans plenty to look forward to when Parmalee takes the stage.
The October 16 performance also gives local fans an opportunity to see the band in a setting with a different feel from a conventional arena show. Harold’s has the atmosphere of a classic Western gathering place, with an outdoor concert space that has hosted national touring artists alongside the local musicians who keep its live music tradition going throughout the year.
A 91-Year Legacy in the Heart of Cave Creek
Harold’s Cave Creek Corral first opened during the Great Depression. Since then, it has grown into a landmark for locals, visitors, country music fans, and anyone who appreciates the character of Arizona’s Western communities.

Known for its live entertainment, dancing, food, and drinks, Harold’s has accumulated plenty of stories over the years. Its walls feature celebrity photographs and memorabilia connected to films shot in the area, including Rafferty and the Gold Dust Twins and Little Fauss and Big Halsey.
The establishment has also welcomed a colorful assortment of famous visitors. Dick Van Dyke reportedly stopped by to play the drums during his time living in the area, while other visitors have included Dan Aykroyd, Walter Cronkite, Lou Rawls, and Miranda Lambert.
Music has remained central to Harold’s identity. The venue regularly features local acts such as Mogollon and Silver Sage, while its expanded outdoor space has accommodated larger productions featuring artists including Craig Morgan, Rodney Atkins, and Roger Clyne and The Peacemakers.
For its anniversary, Harold’s is once again turning to a nationally recognized country act to mark the occasion.
Moonlit Nites Returns for Another Anniversary Celebration
The concert continues a partnership between Harold’s and Arizona-based independent promoter Moonlit Nites, which helped produce the venue’s 90th anniversary celebration in 2025.
That two-night event featured platinum-selling country artist Rodney Atkins and Brian Kelley, known as one half of Florida Georgia Line. Moonlit Nites has also presented events beyond the country genre, including Moonlit Mayhem featuring Buckcherry during Cave Creek Bike Week.

The company’s focus on boutique Western festivals and country concerts makes Harold’s a natural fit. Its events draw on the traditions of country music while creating opportunities for audiences to gather around live performances in distinctive Southwest settings.
This year’s anniversary concert continues that relationship, pairing Harold’s long history with a band whose music has reached audiences across the country.
Chauncey Jones Opens the Show
Joining the lineup is Chauncey Jones, a Phoenix-based independent country singer-songwriter known for his high-energy performances.
His appearance adds a local connection to the evening, putting an Arizona artist on the bill alongside an established national act. For concertgoers, it is another reason to arrive early and catch the full lineup.
