Phoenix-area electronic music fans have another reason to head to Tempe this weekend as Whipped Cream takes over Sunbar Tempe on Saturday, October 10.
The Canadian DJ and producer has built a reputation for sets that move between bass, trap, hip-hop, and festival-ready electronic music, bringing an aggressive, unpredictable energy that works just as well in a packed club as it does on a festival stage.
The upcoming Sunbar show will also mark another Arizona appearance for an artist who has already made an impression on the local scene.
Last year, Legendary Life Media caught up with Whipped Cream at DUSK Music Festival in Tucson, where she spoke with us about returning to Arizona, reconnecting with fans, and getting back into the festival environment. At the time, she was returning to the state after previously performing here in November 2024.
That DUSK appearance gave Arizona fans a chance to see Whipped Cream in a festival setting. This time, the environment is considerably more intimate.

A Night for Bass Music Fans
Whipped Cream’s catalog sits comfortably in the heavier side of electronic music while pulling from several different influences. Her performances can move through bass-heavy drops, trap-inspired production, hip-hop influences, and moments designed for a big crowd reaction.
That range is part of what makes her sets work in different environments.
At DUSK, her performance fit naturally into a festival lineup that moved between melodic, bass-heavy, and high-energy acts throughout the weekend. Legendary Life Media’s coverage of the festival highlighted the range of sounds across the lineup, with Whipped Cream standing out as one of the artists bringing a heavier edge to the weekend.
At Sunbar, expect that energy to feel even more concentrated.
